IOTA NanoSolutions to present at Nanomedicine: Visions for the Future, 24th – 25th February 2010, Amsterdam
MerseyBIO-based IOTA NanoSolutions Ltd is pleased to announce that Professor Steve Rannard, Chief Scientific Officer, will be presenting at the Nanomedicine: Visions for the Future Conference, 24th – 25th February 2010, NH Carlton Amsterdam Hotel, Amsterdam.
The conference organized by the Institute of Nanotechnology, in partnership with NanoNed (the Dutch national nanotechnology network), will bring together “some of the world’s leading researchers and companies in the fields of medical diagnostics, drug design and delivery, imaging and regenerative medicine” to show how the application of nanoscience and nanotechnologies can contribute towards answering the multifaceted challenge of “how can better treatments be delivered more effectively, and within budgetary constraints, to an ever-increasing patient base?”
Professor Rannard will be delivering a presentation entitled “Novel Non-Attrition Approaches to Water-Based Formulation of Poorly Soluble APIs” during Session 1: (Nanoscale Drug Delivery / Drug Design), 12.00 - 12.25pm, on Wednesday 24th February 2010. New non-attrition nanoparticle formation approaches will be described, results from in vivo testing of anti-infectives from IV and Oral formulations will be discussed and enhanced activity and bioavailability will be demonstrated through several case studies.
