From the M62 Motorway
1) Go to the end of the M62 (The Rocket pub is on your left-hand side) and get into the middle lane.
2) At the traffic lights go straight on via Edge Lane (signposted City Centre A5080)
3) Carry straight on for 2 miles going through approximately 7 sets of lights (including pedestrian crossings). A couple of landmarks you will pass are: after 0.5 a mile you will pass, on your left, a large Peugeot garage and after 1.5, on your left, is Marconi and J&C Moores.
4) When you get to the 8th set of lights you go straight on, signposted City Centre. (the signpost for left and right at these crossroads is the A5089 Ring Road). Once you've crossed the lights get into the left hand lane.
5) Next set of lights straight on. Still stay in the left hand lane.
6) Next set of lights turn left, and immediately move into the right hand lane which will take you past the church on the right and down the hill (Mount Vernon).
7) Staying in the right hand lane you will pass the Mount Vernon pub and come to a set of lights. Go straight at the lights and drive on for 0.2 miles until you come to Crown Street on your left.
8) Turn into Crown Street and take the first left into the Life Sciences building car park (Woolton Street).
From the Mersey Tunnels
1) If travelling from the Wallasey Tunnel (Kingsway), follow the signs towards Liverpool City Centre/Birkenhead Tunnel and at the roundabout for the Birkenhead Tunnel (Queensway) take the 2nd exit on the left, get into the left hand lane and follow the bend left into St Johns Lane.
2) From the Birkenhead Tunnel (Queensway), at the roundabout take the 3rd exit, get into the left hand lane and follow the bend left into St Johns Lane.
3) Carry straight on through the first set of traffic lights and get into the right hand lane for the second set of traffic lights and turn right into Lime Street.
4) Carry straight on along Lime Street through the first set of traffic lights and get into the left hand lane and take the second road on the left turning left immediately after the Adelphi Hotel onto Brownlow Hill.
5) Continue on up Brownlow Hill through 2 sets of traffic lights and 1 pedestrian crossing, about 200 metres after the 2nd set of traffic lights turn left into Crown Street.
6) Take the second road on the right into the Life Sciences building car park (Woolton Street).
From Lime Street Railway Station
1) Out of the main entrance of the station onto Lime Street turn left and walk along Lime Street until you reach the Adelphi Hotel (on your left). Walk past the Adelphi Hotel and turn left up Brownlow Hill.
2) Walk straight up Brownlow Hill (you will cross 3 side streets and one main road) until you reach the University of Liverpool campus (this should take approximately 5 minutes).
3) Carry on walking until you get to Crown Street, turn left and immediately cross the road.
4) You will see the old University of Liverpool Life Sciences building in front of you. Behind this is the brand new Liverpool Biosciences Centre and Incubator. Follow the path into the car park and head towards the new silver building. Merseybio’s entrance is the first set of doors which you come across.
